This press brake is characterised by its Easy design, has an open-height of 600 mm and a stroke of 400 mm.
Gasparini adaptive crowning systems and E-Reflex have been installed:
- the Gasparini adaptive crowning system uses two precision sensors to detect the deformation of the upper ram and drive the lower ram accordingly;
The backgauge is 5-axis (X-R-Z1-Z2-X6) CNC-controlled, which in addition to the two standard axes also features the Z1 and Z2 axes. It is characterised by the addition of two references and a stop on one of them.
The register has an X-axis stroke of 800 mm (with a stop at 1000 mm).
In terms of clamping, the customer opted for:
- Gasparini AirSlide upper pneumatic clamping of 110 mm height for European type tools
- manual clamping on ram
- manual lower clamping
In addition, it chose to install the GPS4 angle control system, which adjusts the angle throughout the bending process. The heart of the system is the shaped double fork sensor with 4 contact points: this detects, on contact with the material, the bending angle of both sides of the sheet and sends the data to the system to execute the bend.
The safety device implemented is the DSP-AP Laser, which provides a reduction in speed and a decrease in cycle time. The system emits a visible laser beam that complies with EN12622 standards and ensures that the operator is protected from any danger of being crushed between the die and the punch. This solution is an improvement over older light curtains or single-beam guards that no longer meet current standards.
This machine was equipped with the Tele-Link remote assistance function and the Industry 4.0 package.
The CNC is a Delem DA-69T, mounted on a mobile console. The offline software is the Delem Profile T-3D.
The machine was equipped with two standard foot pedals (one on the right and one on the left), which are then connected by wiring to the press brake.
The press brake was implemented with the addition of two sheet lifters with manual adjustment of the R-axis. These are movable sheet metal supports at the front of the machine, at the height of the bending line, controlled by the CNC. They help support the sheet metal during the bending process.
