X-Press 115/3000 per Elletielle S.r.l.

For Elletielle S.r.l., a company specialising in the processing of flat and long products in iron, stainless steel, special steel, aluminium alloy, copper and brass, we built a hydraulic press brake with a capacity of 115 tonnes and a table length of 3100 mm.

This press brake is characterised by its Easy design, has a table-to-traverse span of 600 mm and a stroke of 400 mm.

Gasparini adaptive crowning system and E-Reflex have been installed:

  • the Gasparini adaptive crowning system uses two precision sensors to detect the deformation of the upper crossbeam and drive the lower crossbeam accordingly;
  • the E-Reflex deformation compensation system ensures control of the structure’s deflections through a network of sensors, located both inside the machine and in the hydraulic system.

In terms of clamping, the customer opted for:

  • Gasparini AirSlide upper pneumatic clamping of 110 mm height for European type tools
  • manual lower clamping

In addition, the customer chose to install the GPS4 angle control system, which adjusts the angle throughout the bending process. The heart of the system is the shaped double fork sensor with 4 contact points: this detects, on contact with the material, the bending angle of both sides of the sheet and sends the data to the system to perform the bending.

This machine was equipped with the Tele-Link remote assistance function and the Industry 4.0 package.

The CNC is a Delem DA-69T type, mounted on a mobile console. The offline software is Delem Profile T-3D.

The backgauge is 5-axis (X-R-Z1-Z2-X6) CNC-controlled, which in addition to the two standard axes also features the Z1 and Z2 axes. It is characterised by the addition of a reference and a stop on one of them.

In addition, this press brake is equipped with two retractable plate supports.

The safety device implemented is the DSP-AP Laser, which provides a reduction in speed and a decrease in cycle time. The system emits a visible laser beam that complies with EN12622 standards and ensures that the operator is protected from any danger of being crushed between the die and the punch. This solution is an improvement over older light curtains or single-beam guards that no longer meet current standards.

The machine has been equipped with a wireless sliding foot pedal. It is designed to take away the hassle for operators of ground cables at the front of the press brake. It can be attached to a sliding shoe to move it along the bending machine by simply pushing it with one foot.

Elletielle S.r.l.’s press brake also features:

  • ECO energy-saving package
  • Protective strips on crossbar
  • Standard electrical interface for operator-robot configuration (with photocells)
  • 2 sliding front supports
  • LED lighting of working area
