In traditional hydraulic circuits, motor and pump are constantly rotating even when the ram is not moving. As a consequence, electric power is wasted and hydraulic oil overheats, increasing operating costs and the risk of faults.
The simplest solution is the Stand-by system: a device monitors the machine activity and powers the motor off after a predetermined period of inactivity. As soon as the press brake resumes its operations, the hydraulic circuit is immediately switched on.
If you are looking for increased working speed as well as reduced consumption, try the ECO and ECO+ inverter motor drive packages.
